Yin Yoga and Anatomy Teacher Training Level 1Aug 31 - Sept 5
This intensive 50 hour (6 day) Yin Yoga & Anatomy Teacher Training is the foundation stone and first module of Yin Therapy’s 200hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training programme.
Yin Yoga – the quiet practice – is all about the art of surrendering. We surrender to the pose, to gravity, to time, to gently and deeply lengthen and soften the fascia tissue while increasing the flow of chi energy and in doing so, de-stressing and healing our bodies.
In this Level I training, we first guide you on a journey within. Through the senses of touch, sight, thought, speech, “balance” and “taste” you will learn about your fascinating self – your fascinating anatomy – your tissues, your bones, your muscles etc to truly uncover your own unique asana practice.
From there you will discover an appreciation of the limitless anatomical variations of the human body. We will take the mystery out of why you or your students are having difficulty doing certain poses. Through a series of practical tests we equip you with the knowledge to assist you and your students discover their own very unique bodies and in doing so, their own very unique yin (and yang) yoga practice.
This training is suitable for certified and aspiring yoga teachers as well as dedicated yoga students with a minimum of 2 years yoga experience who wish for a deeper understanding of yin yoga for their own practice.
Location: Latinissimo Dance Studios, 29 East Street, Auckland
Time: 8.30am – 5.30pm (Lunch break from 12.30 – 1.30pm)
Early Bird Price: $950 (If paid by June 15th)
